Bristol CT. custom Victorian residence.
This custom designed Victorian residence of approximately 4,300 s.f. was designed for a young family of 5 in the Bristol CT area. The traditional front porch and corner turret face a southern distant view of the surrounding community. The open interconnected three story staircase links the lower wine cellar and children’s recreation area with the main first floor living space and third floor bedrooms. The open plan kitchen dinning area and family room on the backside of the plan measures 18 x 50 feet with beam ceiling and built in millwork details.
Brian of Kology Builders and myself Lasse Aspelin have teamed up to construct this one of a kind signature building using Design Build project delivery. With the builder and architect on the same team project details are executed with precision and cost effectiveness. The client loves the transparency of knowing the final construction costs with all materials and labor billed at cost (no markup). The builder and the architect love the built in profit margin established at the date of signing the construction documents. |
